History of BPS

Benefits Planning Service was formed in 1982 – a partnership between an insurance brokerage firm and a human resource consulting firm.  Initially our focus was on performing employee benefit surveys and benefit plan analysis. The success of these services led to an expanding employee benefits brokerage operation. Since our inception more than 40 years ago, we have continued to provide employee benefit consulting and brokerage services, to companies of any size and in various industries.  Our clients include companies with as few as two, to as many as several thousand employees.

BPS never compromises the integrity of the process we follow with each client.  This process starts with recognizing and acknowledging that “every company is different”.  We work very hard at understanding how these differences translate into management’s objectives for their employee benefit program.  This process predictably ends with BPS providing each client with cost effective plan designs and benefit structures, whether fully-insured or self-funded.
